We purchased our new Hyundai Santa Fe this summer and I've had it back for free check and free oil change. From our buying experience to servicing, we've never felt pressured and got a much better price than we could get close to our home. I called the Service Dept to see if I could come in the same day for oil change and software update. Amazingly they got me in within an hour of my call. I was shopping for a hard-to-find Hyundai Kona EV vehicle in the San Diego area where I live when I noticed that Harbor Hyundai had a bunch of these vehicles. I got into contact with Leonard Fischer at Harbor Hyundai and explained that we couldn't get to the dealership until 8 p.m. on a Friday night because of the distance. (The dealership closes at 9 p.m.) Leonard was not only super to work with, but he stayed until 10:30 p.m. showing us all the features and how to operate the touch screen, which was all new to us since our car was an ancient 2002 Nissan Altima. In fact, our Altima died the moment we drove on to the Harbor Hyundai lot . . . we blew a head gasket and cracked the radiator, so I guess it was meant to be to buy a new car! I can highly recommend Leonard and the dealership.

This is only the second time at this Hyundai Dealership, the service was Top notch. The minute I parked and got out of the car Hyundai Service Supervisor Scott Jones asked if I had been helped just as Saul was walking my direction. I was elated as my visits to a Culver City Hyundai Dealership has been a NIGHTMARE started on Sept. 11,long story short, my engine on Volester needed to be replaced Service Advisor Paul is whom I've been dealing with needless to say ,I was the one calling in and checking on the progress of my car, 3weeks later no car, mind you Paul stated I would be getting a loaner car... didn't happen, ended up renting from Enterprise for 3 weeks,I get the car back on Nov.4 its making a noise, rattling so the mechanic takes a dive with me,no noise, they say come back if you hear it again, the following week Oct.10. Oct.17 I take my car back because my engine light comes on while on the freeway, I freak out since ive just had a new engine installed, I take it back Paul says they have to order a part,at this point he has an attitude, he says just sign here and will call you when the part arrives,doesn't tell me what the part is,why it's missing in the first place. On Oct.23 I get 2 calls from this dealership No messages were left, I call back on Fri. ask for Paul he had left for the day,the person asks what the call is about I tell him, he tells me the part came in Wed. AT NO TIME DID PAUL CALL AND NOTIFY ME. So I made an appointment for Mon.Oct.28 get there at noon Paul says it going to take 4hrs. I sat in the lobby then went for a walk , come back and go to ck with Paul about the progress,to my SURPRISE he's gone for the day.... ok at this point, WHERE IN THE HELL IS CUSTOMER SERVICE? I ask to speak to his supervisor Jose,Jose comes out and explains the part missing and now it's going to take another hr. Now this week Nov.14,I go to use my windshield wipers, no water is coming out,I call Jose "Service Supervisor " 3 times,I want to talk to him because I sure as hell don't want to talk to Paul,as I feel he failed customer service 101. Now I people can be busy but it's now Nov.15 4:45pm.. STILL NO CALL... NEEDLES TO SAY, will BE GOING BACK TO HARBOR HYUNDAI... where they know how to treat CUSTOMERS there.
